An Uneasy Alliance

Newfoundland and Labradorians have always had an uneasy alliance with the sea. This Photo is Cape Spear, the furthest point East in North America. The signs warn that venturing off the trails is not recommended. Two people were swept out to sea at this point this year.

Colour in the Cliffs

Splashes of colour greet visitors entering the Narrows in St. John's. These homes cling to the cliffs below signal hill.

Shed Some Light

Ron Pelley aka Harrison2 is the Last of the Wizards. When life threw this painter a curve ball in the form of crippling arthritis in his hands he switched media and entered the digital world. This is one of his digital works. Mr. Pelley is a graphic artist for The (Newfoundland) Herald.
